Classes
YOU & ME! Music & Movement for 3's (3 yrs)
Our pre-school music class is for the 3 year old and an accompanying adult. The open ended 1 hour class meets 3 - 4 pm one Saturday a month for 8 months, October - May. You & Me meets the standards for the NYS Early Learning Guidelines
shining stars
Age 5 - Our dance sampler introduces a variety of dance and musical styles in this unique class which explores the wonderful world of dance. Sessions of Tap, Acro, Jazz, Ballet, and Creative Movement will be offered by our experienced instructors to give a well-rounded early dance experience.
tap
Classes are offered to 4 year olds through adult. From the first wave of the foot to the exciting foot work of our advanced students, tap skills are life skills. Tappers count, create and work cooperatively through a graded tap program. Tap is a life long dance skill.
acro
Acrobatics develops strength, flexibility and endurance, always conscious of safety first. Students work on mats as they proceed developmentally through acrobatic skills, tumbling and tricks. Offered to ages 4 - 18 years.
jazz
Fusion of traditional jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip-hop styles. Class is offered to 6-year olds through adult.
ballet & pointe
The foundation of dance disciplines for students to develop grace, posture, body alignment and artistry. Ages 5 years through adult. Pointe is offered upon instructor recommendation.
flocking forms modern
Offers students ages 12 through adult an opportunity to discover the joy of movement and expression of the unique self through the exploration of music, space, improvisation and modern technique. Previous training in ballet, tap, jazz or modern is beneficial.
musical theatre dance
. Ages 8 -18. Workshop offers 12 one hour classes for ages 8-11 and 12 two hour classes for ages 12-18 Dates and times TBD.
DAD - DANCE ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT
This enrichment program will be offered to dancers ages 12-18 several times a year at no additional cost. New dance techniques, styles, and teaching pedagogy will be explored
